back from the holidays

Today was the 1st day in a new posting, internal medicine.

I was looking forward to this posting despite knowing it'll be the busiest and most hectic posting. I woke up feeling optimistic and ready to start a new day. And when i looked out of the window, it was raining. hmmm.. then i thought nevermind, rain = cooling yes? And the hospital is always so hot.. so ladeelaa... had breakfast and went to the hospital. By then, it was raining dogs and cats. Oh oh, how to park and get down? In the end, we did but we were soaked and wet. My shoes were squishing water with every step into the building. Despite that, we started laughing at the condition we were in. Come to think of it, it was rather hilarious. Dressed up in formal clothes and looking wet *laughs*



So the day progressed on smoothly. We were introduced to our respective wards, mine being 8EF, the ladies ward and familiarized ourselves in the new surrounding. After all this will be 'classroom' for the next 7 weeks. Thank God for His shower of blessings early this morning. I believe He has more good things for the coming week!
