the week that was

Many many events happened over the past week! (well considerably more than the normal classes/home/on call/home cycle)

The 1St & most recent....

Jeffrey's farewell!

we've just got to know u so much more through all our serving sessions in church & now ur leaving to further ur studies in kl *sniffs*

He is one brother in Christ that we're going to just miss so much. Did i mention he's a fantastic guitarist/bassist? And one who is able to crack jokes at any time of the day. haha.. we'll definately miss his outspoken character & great sense of humor. Jeffrey, don't ermm forget pastor's prayers for u *winks*

Next..

Bits & pieces from the O&G unit of HSNZ!

For the past 5 days, we've been having future JPA scholars on a pre-medical degree hospital exposure programme here with us. There are 75 of this straight As students going around the wards & clinics with the aim of gaining an insight of the life in the hospital. Looking at their fresh faces, it reminded me of myself on my 1st day in the wards in this hospital *laughs* hm,i wonder if they know what are they up for

This week i'm posted to the antenatal ward. So basically what we've been doing is just going around from bed to bed, palpating the pregnant women's tummies. I think i've felt around 10 enlarged tummies but its still a challenge to determine which is the head, butt, hands and feet. And sometimes, if the baby happens to get annoyed, u'll feel a thump on ur hand (kick)! haha..

And last but not the least...
